HEAVENER–Makaylee Wilson slammed a 2-run homer and twin sister Makenzie Wilson threw her second straight shutout as Heavener downed Howe, 6-0, in fast-pitch softball Tuesday.
One day after throwing a no-hitter in a 10-0 win in four innings over Smithville, Makenzie Wilson allowed only three hits while striking out 11, including seven straight from the first through the third innings.
Makaylee Wilson put the game out of reach with her homer in the bottom of the fifth, scoring the final two runs of the contest. Emily Yandell, who had reached on an error, also scored on the blast.
