The Heavener Wolf Pups’ third and fourth grade team advanced to the league finals with a 12-0 win over Charleston on Saturday at Harvey Stadium.
The Wolf Pups will take on the Booneville and Lavaca winner on Saturday at Paris to determine the league champion.

Senior Night is typically a game players, coaches, fans and cheerleaders remember fondly.
That probably won’t be the case for the this year’s seniors. Idabel totally dominated Heavener on Friday, winning 58-7 to close out the 2014 season.
Like most of the teams Heavener has played down the stretch,
Heavener will try to send its seniors out with a win and shake up the district standings when the Wolves host Idabel on Friday.
This is the final game of the year for Heavener and Senior Night. The Wolves will honor all the seniors prior to the game.

Friday night was Halloween and while the thrills were few for Heavener in its non-district game with powerful Beggs, it was a nightmare for the Wolves.
Heavener fumbled nine times, losing four, threw an interception and lost to the Demons, 44-6.

Heavener will face one of its better opponents of 2014 when the Wolves host Beggs on Friday night in a non-district contest.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Beggs is 7-1 overall and 5-0 in 3A-6, a half game ahead of Checotah. The Demons play Checotah next week for the district championship.
Times have been announced for the Heavener Wolf Pups’ playoff games on Saturday.
The fifth and sixth grade Wolf Pups play at Ozark at noon while the Heavener third and fourth grade team hosts Ozark at 4 p.m. at Harvey Stadium.
