POTEAU – For Phillip Breeding, graduating from Poteau High School this spring, with a 3.9 GPA, marked not only the completion of his K-12 education, but also the completion of an Associates of Science Degree in Biological and Pre-Professional Sciences from Carl Albert State College.
Moving to the area from Washington state, Breeding remarked that he was always impressed with the appearance of the Carl Albert campus. Before going into his junior year at PHS, Breeding’s father, Grant, began talking with the high school counselor and researching local concurrent programs to assist his son with getting a few college credits out of the way.
