Jackie “Jack” Meeh, 86, went to his Heavenly home on April 4, 2019 and was born Aug 26, 1932 in Heavener to Charles and Fannie Meeh.
After graduating from Heavener High School, Jack joined the US Army and honorably served his country during the Korean conflict. On Dec. 20, 1952, Jack married his one true love, Alyce Sue Conley, and together shared more than 66 years of marriage and raising their four children.
Jack worked as a banker for many years, retiring at the age of 65 from the FDIC. He was a longtime member of Wilmont Place Baptist Church where he was a deacon and served in many facets. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed hobbies such as golfing and watching OU football, but the moments spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, were the memories he cherished most.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Pete, Bill, Jim and David Meeh; and sisters Frances, Melinda and Dolores.
He leaves wonderful memories with his loving wife, Alyce; sons Mike Meeh and wife Vicky, David Meeh and wife Genie Bishop, and Paul Meeh; daughter Leah Smith and husband, Ken; five grandchildren Annissa Foutz, Mikey Meeh, Sarah Brown, Mandy Zinn and Zac Smith; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing is Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 2 to 4 p.m., and Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services to honor his life are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Tulsa.
