WHITESBORO—A 30-year-old Woodward man was injured Friday night a quarter mile east of Whitesboro.
Anthony Guthrie was driving a 2003 Chevrolet truck west on Highway 63 when the vehicle departed the road to the right. He over corrected to the left and struck a house.
Guthrie was transported by LeFlore County EMS to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he is listed in stable condition with a back injury.
The accident report cites Guthrie as drinking with his ability impaired.
He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Airbags were equipped and deployed.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Ty Wallace and Trooper Cody Jackson. They were assisted by the Whitesboro Fire Department, Department of Wildlife and the LeFlore County Sheriff’s office.
