An 82-year-old Poteau man was involved in an accident in Haskell County Saturday that sent two people to the hospital.
Harold Thompson of Poteau was driving a 2010 Ford Focus when he failed to yield from a stop sign and pulled out in front of a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver, Carl Angelo, 30, of Wilburton was transferred by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head, arm and leg injuries.
A passenger on the motorcycle, Janet Williams, 58, of Wilburton was also transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and is listed in stable condition with head, internal, arm and leg injuries.
Thompson was cited for failure to yield. He refused medical treatment on the scene.
