LeFlore County cities had an increase of $6,052.45 for December in sales tax revenue compared to the previous year in the latest report by the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

The cities had a combined revenue of $686,848.73 for December of 2017 compared to $680,796.28 for December of 2016.
Poteau’s sales tax had the biggest jump, going from $405,806.84 last year to $428,987.90 this December. Heavener had the next highest increase, $3,475 over last December. This year’s total was $60,869.30 compared to $57,394.30 last year.
Talihina had the biggest decrease of $7,621.27. This December, Talihina’s total was $29,811.42 compared to $37,432.69 last year.
LeFlore County’s portion of sales tax dropped $9,845.84 from last December. This year, the total for the county was $532,564.95 while last year’s total was $9,845.84.
