POTEAU—Funeral services for Goldie Juanita Hollan, 84, of Poteau are Friday at 2 p.m. at the Summerfield Church of Christ with Tracy Loyd officiating.
Interment will follow at the Summerfield Cemetery.
She went to be with God on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018. Goldie was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Summerfield to Binjamin “BC” and Anna (Powers) Carpenter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Eudell Hollan; her birth mother, Anna; her father, B.C; mother, Mae Carpenter; brother, Richard Carpenter; and sister, Iva VanHook Phillips.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Murphy and husband Paul of Poteau, and Pam Steelman and husband Curtis of Reichert; three grandchildren Jennifer Jackson and friend Scott Kettman of Stillwater, Amanda Dedmon and husband Mark of Haw Creek and Nathan Steelman of Poteau; six great grandchildren Weston and Raegan Ward of Haw Creek, Annalee and Levi Jackson of Stillwater, Melody and Montana Dedmon of Haw Creek; brother, Alton Carpenter, of Summerfield; sisters Eva Brown of Texas, Retha Dehart, Janice Talburt and Cheryl Kuhn, all of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
