SPIRO—Funeral services for Willie Mae Whitfield, 86, of Spiro are Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Victory Worship Center in Spiro with Tashala Devrow officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fort Coffee Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
She passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and was born March 25, 1931 in Fort Coffee to Elisha and Queen Victoria (Jones) Frazier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Whitfield; two daughters Beverly (Gus) Wilson and Teresa Simpson; grandson, Cedric; and nine siblings.
Survivors include her children Dollie (Larry) Bowler, Paula Gordon, Sharon Steele, Wanda Whitfield, Janet Whitfield, Yolanda (Joe) Whitfield, Monica Whitfield, Terrie (Samuel Lee) Green, Samuel E. Whitfield, Dennis R.(Shelia) Whitfield, William M.(Joanna) Whitfield, Jerry (Melanie) Whitfield, Clara Meadows and Ollie Mae (Luster) Harris; 54 grandchildren; 78 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a brother, Douglas (Hazel) Frazier.
