Services are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
He was born Sept. 6, 1926 in Fort Smith, Ark. to Emmett “E.C.” and Ora (Shelton) Addison and passed away Aug. 1, 2017 at the VA Health Center in Oklahoma City.
Bill was a longtime resident of the area, was of the Methodist faith, and was a retired businessman. He was a member of the Heavener VFW Post 8403 and American Legion. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served his country in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson, Zachary Addison.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Addison; two sons Michael Addison and wife Donna of Norman, and Rodney Addison and wife Jan of Skiatook; one brother T.C. Addison and wife Barbara of Howe; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing is Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m., until 8:30 p.m.
