McCURTAIN—Heavener swept Eufaula and McCurtain in fast-pitch softball Tuesday to improve to 15-6 overall.
The Lady Wolves downed Eufaula 13-0 in three innings as Makenzie Wilson threw a no-hitter before using primarily junior varsity players in a 16-1 win over McCurtain.
Heavener is back in action Tuesday at Wister.
Against Eufaula, Wilson allowed no hits while striking out six in the three innings. Abbi Moody doubled and knocked in four runs while going 1-2 with two runs, Makaylee Wilson was 1-1 with two runs, Kylee Free finished 1-1 with two runs and Morgan Alexander brought in a pair of runs while going 1-1 with a run.
In the game against McCurtain, Brylee Simmons doubled and was 4-4 with three RBI and two runs, Emily Yandell went 2-3 with three runs and two RBI, Lily Smith was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Alexander scored twice and was 1-1, Shaylan Duncan knocked in two runs and went 1-3 with a run and Haylee Dean tripled while going 1-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Yandell was the winning pitcher, going all 4.0 innings with six strikeouts and two hits.
