Arbuckle: August 13. Elevation above normal, water 79 and stained. Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and spotted bass slow on jigs and worms around brush structure, main lake, and rocks. Crappie slow on jigs and minnows around brush structures and docks. White bass slow on grubs, jigs, lipless baits, minnows, spoons and topwater lures in main lake and riprap. Fishing has been slow due to lots of rain. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Blue River: August 15. Elevation normal, water 73 and clear. Smallmouth, largemouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits and topwater lures around brush structure, off points and rocks. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait and stinkbait in channels, off rocks and deeper pools around current. Top water fishing is best at dusk and dawn.
