HITCHCOCK—A 30-year-old Talihina man was injured in an auto accident Sunday at around 4:45 p.m. approximately four miles south of Hitchcock in Blaine County.
Michael Carl Bollinger was driving a 2001 Ford Ranger when he reportedly fell asleep and the truck departed the road to the right. The vehicle then re-entered the roadwayin a broad slide and began to roll.
The truck then departed the road to the left and came to rest on its wheels.
He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Watonga before being transported by ambulance to Integris Baptist in Oklahoma City.
He was admitted in stable condition with a neck injury. He was using his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
