Services are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
She was born May 31, 1947 in Oneida, Tenn. to Hobert Otto and Georgia (Murphy) Baird and passed away July 13, 2017 in Poteau.
Elizabeth was a life-long resident of Bristow, a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristow, where she was an active member in the choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Tommy Gene Baird.
She is survived by one son Lyle Whitworth and wife Amy of Poteau; three sisters Peggy Jones of Walkertown, N.C., Cindy Tarter of London, Ky. and Sarah Hoover of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren Connor, Garrison and Paige Whitworth of Poteau; many beloved nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends.
A memorial service is Thursday at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bristow with Bro. D.J. Carney officiating. The family is inviting everyone to join the family in the Fellowship Hall for a meal following the Memorial service.
