A Hodgen woman was life flighted to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa after a one-car accident Saturday at 10:22 p.m. near Conser Road, approximately two miles south of Hodgen.
Brandi Brooks, 39, of Hodgen, was northbound on Merle Branch Road, a two-lane dirt road, departed the road to the left through a barbed wire fence, rolled one and a half times before coming to rest on its roof, partially ejecting the driver.
Brooks was cited with DUI, according to the report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. She was not using her seat belt and the airbag did not deploy in the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer she was driving.
She is listed in stable condition with leg injuries.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Cody Jackson of the Leflore County detachment of Troop D. He was Assisted by Leflore County Sheriff’s Department, Troopers Michael Scantling, Josh Blake and Trooper Jonathan Lipe.
