VINITA—Heavener’s Barbara Johnson won three events and Jacob Hill won the high jump at the 3A regional track meet at Vinita on Monday.
Tyler Eagle also qualified for the state meet by finishing third in the shot and Kelli Morgan was third in the 100 hurdles to clinch a spot at the state meet.
Johnson finished first in the 3,200, 1,600 and 800 run.
Additional Heavener athletes might qualify for state, but it depends on the other regionals. The 2A and 3A meet at Chisholm was postponed until Tuesday due to weather.
Also for Heavener, Justin Stallings was fourth in the long jump, Alyssa Collins was fifth in the 200 and the long jump, the Wolves’ 3,200 relay team of Stallings, Allen Leder, Maliek Lira and Nathan Binns were fourth.
Morgan also finished sixth in the 300 hurdles while Binns was sixth in the 800 run.
