WILBURTON—Heavener opened its track season on Thursday at the Wilburton Meet.
Barbara Johnson broke her personal best by almost 40 seconds and won first in the 3,200, finished second in the 1,600 with a personal best and was second in the 800.
Iris Martinez set a personal record in the 800 and finished third, was fifth in the 1,600 and fourth in the 3,200.
Kelli Morgan placed second in the 100 hurdles and sixth in the 300 hurdles.
For the Wolves, Jacob Hill set a personal best in the high jump and was second while Justin Stallings was third in the long jump.
Heavener competes again Tuesday at the Poteau Meet.
