POTEAU—Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center has announced the opening of an Outpatient IV Infusion Suite.
EOMC will provide infusion therapy services for IV antiobiotics and chronic diseases.
Registered nurses and pharmacists have specialized training in IV infusion therapy. Services are available on Monday through Friday and include options for therapy if needed.
Most major insurance carriers are accepted including most state and federally funded plans. Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and commercially insured patients qualify for outpatient infusion therapy.
There are no copays and a wide variety of payment options are available.
A wide ranges of therapies and disorders such as infectious disease, rheumatoid arthritis, chronis inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, allergic asthma, MLS, osteoporosis, osteamyelitis, chronic migraine, anemia, iron deficiency, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
Mediciations offered include IV antiobiotics, specialty injectables, blood products, IV fluids, remicade, IVIG, tysabri, xolair, orencia, actemra, benlysta, IV fluids, neupogen, procrit, neulasta, routine allergy injections and more.
