Interment will follow in the Weeks, Ark. Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 30, 1961 in Poteau to Pat and Myrtle (Luman) Edwards and passed away July 5, 2016 in Grove.
Carl was a 1980 graduate of Heavener High School and was a forklift operator for OK Foods. He loved riding 4-wheelers, hunting, shooting guns, and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Edwards, of Fort Smith, Ark.; one son Joshua Edwards and wife Wendi of Waldron, Ark.; one daughter Brittany Clague and husband Scotty of Wister; one stepdaughter Ellen Farmer and husband Tom of Bay City, Texas; his parents Pat and Myrtle Edwards of Weeks, Ark.; one brother Keith Edwards and wife Kathy of Heavener; one sister
Patricia Martin and husband Ronnie of Weeks, Ark.; four granddaughters Rilee Jo Edwards, Kaylee and Grace Clague, and Shyenne Rogers; one grandson Ryan Farmer; one niece Samantha Edwards; two nephews Seth Pottridge, and Billy Benson and wife Crystal; one great nephew; two great nieces; two great-great nieces; many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and dearly loved friends.
Pallbearers are Tim Hill, Ricky McDaniel, Jack “BoBo” Yancy, Steven Minor, Dickey Thompson and John Luman. Honorary pallbearers are James Luman, Johnny Qualls and Chris Crouch.
Viewing is from noon until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
