Burial will follow at the Hodgen Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home.
She was born April 8, 1926 in Houston, Texas to William Caswell and Myrtle Mae (Johnson) Rowlett-Henderson and passed away April 6, 2016 in Hodgen,
Rosalie was a life-long resident of the area and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Runnels, Sr; one son, Gerald Runnels, Jr; two grandsons, James Albert McClelland and Peter Boaz McCulley; and one great-grandson Michael Louis Grome.
Surviving family members are two daughters, Sharon Mae Runnels and Linda Jane Russels, both of Hodgen; four sons, Jimmy Runnels and wife Jackie of Hodgen, Clifford Runnels and wife Monica of Livingston, Texas, Paul Runnels and wife Betty of Tex City, Texas, and Joey Wadavak; one sister Kathy Stark and husband Charles of Poteau; 25 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Phillip Sanchez, Clifford Runnels, John Fox, Lonnie Roberts and Garland Nelson, Sr.
Viewing is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. The family will be greetings with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
