PANAMA—Panama pitchers Tristan Thompson and Gabe Harp allowed only one hit in two games as the Razorbacks swept Wewoka in the 2A district baseball tournament here on Thursday.
Thompson allowed only one hit in the 11-0 win in the first game while Harp blanked Wewoka in a 13-0 win in the second contest.
Thompson struck out nine in the three inning game while Harp mowed down seven batters.
Thompson was 2-2 with two runs scored and a RBI in the first game with a double while Ben Whiteaker went 2-2 with two runs and two RBI, Harp was 1-2 with a run scored and two RBI and Jacob Mantooth had a triple.
Panama scored eight runs in the first inning of the second game and added five more in the second. Andy Burris was 2-2 with three runs and a RBI, Thompson had a double and triple in a 2-3 game with two RBI, Whiteaker was 2-2 with a double and two runs scored, Blake Emmert went 2-2 with three RBI and two runs scored and Ryan Ragan was 2-2 with a pair of RBI and a run scored.
