Another round of heavy rains on Sunday left a good portion of LeFlore County and Heavener flooded.
Weather.com reported Heavener received another 1.04 inches of rain on Sunday, leaving a good portion of the east part of town flooded.
Over the last seven days, 4.95 inches of rain have been reported, leaving the May total of 12.30 inches of rain.
Michael Davidson, director of LeFlore County Emergency Management, said Wister received 2.3 inches of rain on Sunday and Talihina added another 1.9 inches of precipitation.
Unfortunately, the county is expected to receive additional heavy rains Monday night with a threat of tornadoes.
