WHITESBORO—Whitesboro swept a pair of slow-pitch softball games from Talihina on Tuesday, winning 12-0 and 9-0.
In the opener Whitesboro, now 21-7, scored a run in the first inning and added 11 more in the third.
Lauren Harper got the win for the Lady Bulldogs and allowed only two hits.
Breanna Gibson had a double, scored a run and had a RBI while going 3-3, Abigail Phillips tripled, knocked in three runs and scored once while going 2-2, Emily Wall was 2-2 with two doubles, a RBI and run scored, Lexey Branscum had a 2-3 game with a triple, RBI and run, Bailee McConnell banged a homer, was 2-3 with a RBI and three runs, Harper went 1-2 with a triple, RBI and run, Amanda Carver was 1-2 with a double, two RBI and a run, Molly Young finished 1-2 with a RBI and run scored, Hope Sisemore finished 1-2 while Mariah Frederick and Roxane Merle each scored a run.
In the second game Whitesboro scored once in the first, two times in the second, twice in the third and four runs in the fourth.
Gibson was the winning pitcher, allowing only four hits.
Phillips went 2-2 with a RBI and run scored, Harper had a double, scored twice and was 2-2, Branscum doubled twice, knocked in two runs and scored twice while going 2-3, Gibson doubled, drove in two runs and scored a run in a 2-3 game, Sisemore was 1-2, McConnell went 1-3 with a RBI and run, Young knocked in a run and was 1-3, Frederick had a RBI and scored a run, Wall knocked in a run and Merle scored once.
