WHITESBORO–The No. 9-ranked Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs improved to 15-5 with two wins at home Tuesday.
The Lady Bulldogs downed LeFlore, 7-5, and got a 13-5 win over Eagletown.
In the game with Leflore the Lady Bulldogs scored twice in the second inning, four times in the fourth and one run in the fifth. The Lady Savages scored a run in the fifth and sixth innings.
For Whitesboro, Amanda Carver was 1-2 with three RBI and a run scored, Lauren Harper went 1-2 with two runs, Emily Wall finished with 1-2 with a run scored, Molly Young had a 1-4 game with a RBI, Breanna Gibson had a double and scored a run while going 1-3, Abigail Phillips was 1-3, Hope Sisemore knocked in a run and scored once, and Lexey Branscum and Bailee McConnell each had a RBI. Roxane Merle scored once and Harper got the win.
Kaylee Roath was 2-3 with a run scored for LeFlore, Sadie Brown had a 2-3 game with a RBI, Shay Green, Camri Duncan and Masey Brannon were both 1-3, Emily Sinclair was 1-3 and scored once while Ayme Warren had a RBI. Duncan took the loss for the Lady Savages.
In the middle game Leflore beat Eagletown, 6-3.
In the late game, Whitesboro got off to a fast start by scoring seven runs in the first inning. The Lady Bulldogs added four in the fourth and two in the fifth to complete the run-rule win.
Eagletown scored twice in the second, once in the fourth and twice in the fifth.
For Whitesboro, Phillips had five RBI and scored twice in a 2-3 game, Sisemore went 2-3 with a run scored, Mariah Frederick went 2-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, Gibson was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, Wall went ½ with a RBI and run scored, Carver was 1-2 with a RBI and run scored, McConnell had a RBI and was 1-3, Harper was 1-3 with a RBI, Young went 1-3 with two runs and Branscum scored twice and had a RBI.
Harper was the winning pitcher for Whitesboro.
