SPIRO—Funeral services for Ruby Elizabeth Duncan Hale,77, of Spiro are Saturday at 10 a.m. at Spiro First Baptist Church with Rev. C.L. Thomas and Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating.
Burial will follow in the Spiro City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was born March 15, 1938 in Spiro to Otis Luther and Ruby Juanita Drew Fisher Duncan and passed away on April 21, 2015 in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers Roger “R.W” Duncan and John “Jackie” Duncan.
Surviving family members are her husband, Carl Hale of the home; a daughter, LaDonna Jean Hale of Spiro; a son, Alan Jeffrey Hale and wife Loretta of Spiro; two grandchildren Cody Hale and wife Brittany of Spiro and Heather Ann (Hale) Knight and husband James Tyler of Spiro; and three great grandchildren, Natalie Hale, Leighton Knight and Hadlie Hale.
Pallbearers are Cody Hale, Tyler Knight, Anthony Reed, Sammy McDowell, Bubba Conrad and Jorge Garcia. Honorary pallbearers are Charles “Moon” Sisco, Ray Freeman, Gabrial Garcia, Rodger Duncan, Greg Duncan, Brother Lin Jones, Brother Big John Flanagan and Bill Floyd.
