Heavener got a home runs from Lexi Moody and Lakota Vickers and the Lady Wolves rolled past Talihina here on Tuesday, 13-1, in three innings.
The fifth-ranked Lady Wolves improved to 14-2 going into the Battiest Tournament on Friday. Heavener opens with Fort Towson on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
Heavener scored three runs in the first inning against Talihina before blasting away for eight more runs in the second inning before ending the contest by scoring twice in the third inning,
Talihina scored its lone run in the second inning.
Moody had three RBI with the homer and a double while Vickers finished with three RBI also. Lily Friedl scored three runs for the Lady Wolves while Cheyenne Cranfield was the winning pitcher and had a pair of runs.
