POTEAU—Funeral services for Wilma LaFaye Parker, 86, of Poteau are Monday at 2 p.m. at the Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Bro. Keith Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
She was born in Poteau on March 20, 1928 to William and Myrtle (Cook) Blaylock, was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Poteau and worked in the school cafeteria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Parker; twin son, Don Parker; grandson, Bryan Parker; four sisters, Marie, Vivian, Patsy and Sue; and a brother Hershel.
Survivors include her (twin) daughter, Ann and husband Billy Phillips of Owasso; son, Bruce and wife Brenda Parker of Poteau; grandson, Brooks and wife Dana Parker of Poteau; great granddaughters, Skye and Sophie Parker; sisters, Jo Harmon of Hackett, Ark. and Lois Dilday of Tulsa; and brothers, Jim Blaylock of Longview, Wash. and Gene Blaylock of Claremore.
The family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
