POCOLA—Funeral services for Mildred Maudie Myers, 81, of Pocola are Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Pocola Heights Free Will Baptist Church with Johnny Holderfield and Gary Myers officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
She passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Fort Smith, Ark. and was born Oct. 10, 1933 in Haywood to Fred and Mae Rittie (Hall) Lovell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clifford Myers; her parents; and a brother, Albert Lovell.
Survivors include her daughter Sherry Woods and husband John of Pocola; a son, Gary Myers and wife Nancy of Alma, Ark.; five grandchildren, Staff Sgt. Chris Robertson and wife Allie, Spec. Todd Myers, Jennifer Woods-Roger and husband Tommy, Josh Myers and Misty Robertson; five great grandchildren, Alexi Robertson, Jonathan Woods, Alicia Myers, Jaxon Robertson and Gavyn Robertson; a sister, Geneva Powell and husband Bill of Yorba Linda, Calif.; and a brother, Bob Lovell of Pocola.
Pallbearers are Josh Myers, John Woods, Tommy Roger, Danny Lovell, Kenny Lovell and Jerry Owens. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Bullard and Z.W. Richison.
The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
