HODGEN—Funeral services for Juanita McCurtain, 96, of Hodgen are Monday at 2 p.m. at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Cherry officiating.
Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
She was born Nov. 17, 1918 in Hodgento Leonard and Artie (Ollar) Wright and passed away March 19, 2015 in Heavener. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Hodgen First Baptist Church, where she held the oldest church membership.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Denton McCurtain; three daughters, Gilda Watkins, Linda McCurtain, and Ruby McCurtain; one son, Jimmy McCurtain; three sisters; two brothers; and five grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Anna Beck of Summerfield, Joyce Lankford and husband James of Hodgen and Vivian Barrett of Hodgen; three sons, C.D. “Buddy” McCurtain of Hodgen, Tommy McCurtain of LeFlore and Mike McCurtain of Hodgen; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 40 great great grandchildren; and two great great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Tim Templeton, Jr., Jay McCurtain, Chad Russell, Jessie Wilsie, Lonnie Wheat Jr. and Jim McCurtain. Honorary Pallbearers are Gene Welch, Tyler Bowen, Aaron Bowen, Justus Welch and Joshua Wisdom.
