The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from midnight to noon on Monday.
The advisory is for LeFlore, Pushmataha, Pittsburg, Latimer and Haskell counties in Oklahoma and Sebastian in Arkansas.
The advisory replaces the watch that was in effect.
Rain Sunday evening will change over to freezing rain and then sleet after midnight. Less than an inch of sleet accumulation and less than a quarter of an inch of ice accumulation is expected.
A winter weather advisory means wintry precipitation may accumulate on roadways. Roads may become slick and hazardous, especially on bridges and overpasses.
