HOWE—Funeral services for Claude Alvin Jones, 60, of Howe are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Stacy and David Yoder officiating.
Burial will follow at the Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1954 in Poteau to Vernon and Imogene (Faulkenberry) Jones and passed away Feb. 23, 2015 in Howe, was a lifelong resident of the area and a retired correctional administrator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Eugene Jones and Clifton Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Jones of the home; two sons, Bill Jones of Tahlequah and John Jones of Monroe; a stepdaughter, Trinity White and husband Wesley of Garber, and their children, William and Addelyn; three stepsons, Johnathan Dahl and wife Dana of Tulsa, along with their son, Dominic, and Tristan Dahl and Joseph Horton, both of the home; two stepchildren by a previous marriage, Angela Ritter and husband Lyndal of Poteau, and their daughter, Aurora, and
Christopher Williams and wife Devon, and their daughter Delilah; a sister, Anna Reeves of Lindsay; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Jones and Carol Jones, both of Howe.
Pallbearers are Donnie Jones, Justin Jackson, Aaron Jackson, Pat McKibbon, Mike Andrews and Ronnie Reeves.
Viewing is from 2 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday with the family visiting with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
