Linda Kay Olive, 67, of Heavener passed away on Jan. 4, 2015 in Heavener. She was born July 8, 1947 in Reichert to John and Esther (Steelman) Dedmon, was a lifelong resident of the area, a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Heavener, retired from Heavener Public Schools and was a home health care giver.
Funeral service are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Heavener with Rev. Aaron Polk, Rev. Johnny Montgomery, and Brother Paul Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Reichert Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie; a daughter, Becky Cripps and husband Nathan of Heavener; three sons, Mike Olive and wife Rose of Heavener, Craig Olive and wife Staci of Heavener, and Tim Olive and wife Jamie of Heavener; three sisters, Barbara Kannady and husband Burr of Tulsa, Leona Qualls and husband Doug of Heavener, and Hilda Oliver and husband Jimmy of Heavener; a brother, Eugene Dedmon and wife Janice of Waldron, Ark.; 11 grandchildren, Steven, Daniel, Rachel, Jennifer, Blake, Beau, Bailey, Paige, Parker, Haley and Shaylee; and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are her grandchildren.
Viewing is from 2 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
