Are you ready for a party?
We are having our 50th anniversary Chamber Banquet on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the PAC.
Tickets are $25 each or $225 for a reserved table for eight. Our theme is “Back to the 60’s” as the Chamber was established in 1965 and it is NOT going to be formal.
I would love for everyone to dress in 1960s attire. I will be there in my tie-dyed shirt and bell bottoms and probably flowers in my hair.
We will have a contest for the best outfit, man and woman and the best dressed table. Still Kickin’ will provide 60’s and 70’s music and we are going to dance.
Eli French will provide a wonderful dinner. Presentation for Citizen of the Year and Woman of the Year will be made during the evening as well as door prizes and a silent auction.
We will not have a speaker this year, however our mayor, Troy Dyer will emcee and new board members will be introduced.
We had such a good turnout last year and I am hoping this year will be even better.
Tickets are available now at the Chamber office or you can get tickets at the door. This is a celebration of all that has been done by the Chamber and its members for the last 50 years and we hope you will all join us.
If you would like to become a Chamber member, give me a call at 918-653-4303 or email us at [email protected].
We are trying hard to make Heavener a better place to live and work and we need to all work together to make it happen. Have a great week and join us at the banquet!
