HOWE–Bobby D. Cox, 75, of Howe passed away Jan. 8, 2015. He was born Oct. 10, 1939 to Sherman Taft and Opal Nadine (Victor) Cox, in Independence, was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Perry Chapel Baptist Church in Conser.
The family will meet with friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Florene Parker; and a nephew Michael Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cox; a daughter
Candice Adkisson and husband Joel of Sapulpa; a son, Bobby Cox II and wife Jennifer of Howe; a sister, Marilyn Arnett of Poteau; two granddaughters, Wrigley Adkisson and Aniston Cox; and two grandsons, Kinsler Cox and Picher Adkisson.
