POTEAU—The LeFlore County commissioners agreed on a lease-purchase to get three new motor graders at their weekly business meeting on Monday.
The commissioners are trading in three older motor graders for the three new motor graders.
On the first two, they will be traded in and receive $136,000 for one and $125,000 for the second. The third older motor grader will be purchased for $125,000 with that amount applied to the purchase of the three new ones.
All three have a guaranteed buy back of $165,000 at the end of five years and a purchase price of $254,777.
The commissioners also approved a memorandum of agreement between the LeFlore County sheriff’s office and the Oklahoma highway safety office for reiumbursement for overtime for DUI shifts.
Sheriff Rob Seale said this will allow his deputies up to 47.5 hours of overtime or $4,500. This will allow 208 DUI shifts over a year.
The commissioners also approved a resolution determining the maximum monthly highway expenditures for November and reviewed and approved the six-month county highway vendor bid list.
